Happy New Year!

 

Thank you for swimming with us these past months, volunteering at our swim meets, taking an interest in your swimmers swimming, supporting your swimmer(s), and learning how you can help on-deck at swim meets.  We truly appreciate you and we couldn’t have done it with you!

Let’s continue to make strides towards positive change and habits that can help us all succeed as a team for the rest of our season.

 

House Keeping News

  • USA Swimming Memberships
    • If your swimmer(s) has not been renewed yet for their 2026 memberships, the current membership for 2025 is set to expire today (12/31/2025).
    • IMPORTANT NOTE:
      • An error was made in our selection of how to renew team member USA swimming memberships. Future attempts will prompt a screen saying, “the club has opted to handle renewing the membership themselves”.
      • It was our intention to have the families handle this themselves. A help ticket has been sent to USA swimming to attempt to continue that route
      • Thanks for your patience and my apologies for the inconvenience.

Swim Meets Available for Registration

  • January
    • 24-25: BBST Aly Fell Memorial Sprint Classic
      • Location: Arne Hanna Aquatic Center, 1114 Potter St., Bellingham
      • Registration Deadline: January 8, 2026
  • February
    • 7: TAC Island Express
      • Location: Fidalgo Pool and Fitness Center, 1603 22nd St., Anacortes
      • All ages!
      • Registration Deadline: January 26
    • 27-March 1: PN February Age Group Invitational

This meet is one of three sites across the Pacific Northwest (PN) swimming region. I’m excited to be able to host this meet for our swimmers and other qualifiers across PN and show that TAC/Anacortes know how to be great hosts for those coming to town.

  • Prelim/Final for 11&Overs
  • Timed Final for 10&Unders
  • Time Standard achievement must be made for participation
  • TAC will need assistance with Timers at FINALS
  • Location: Fidalgo Pool and Fitness Center, 1603 22nd St., Anacortes
  • Registration Deadline: February 13

Return to TACtion January 5 at normal practice schedule for all groups
