Competing in swim meets is an exciting and essential part of the BWST experience. Our team participates in a variety of meets throughout the year, and this page will guide you through how meet entries work, what to expect, and key policies.
 
Meet Information

Details for each upcoming meet are posted several weeks in advance on our Meet Events page. To find info on a specific meet:

  1. Click the meet name
  2. Review the meet announcement and timelines
  3. Look for entry deadlines and fees

​How Meet Entries Work

  • Entry Method: All meet entries must be completed via the BWST online entry system.

  • Coach vs. Swimmer Selections:

    • For some meets, coaches will select your swimmer’s events.

    • For others, swimmers can request events, but coaches will still have final approval.

  • Finalization: Once entries are submitted and approved by coaches, they are sent to the host team and cannot be changed.

  • Relays: Relay teams are selected at the coaches' discretion and may change up until race time.

 

Entry Fees and Surcharges

Each event has an entry fee listed in the meet information. Additional charges may apply:

  • Out-of-town meets: May include a travel surcharge to cover coaching expenses.
  • National-level meets: An out-of-town travel fee will be applied to help support staff travel.

All charges for a specific meet are outlined in the official meet information.

Meet Fee Payment
  • Fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the Wednesday before the meet.
  • Your credit card on file will be automatically charged.
