Email from Coach Russ: 2nd Meet Recap, Reminders and Champ Cut Times Monday, October 20

Good Morning

Congratulations to all of our swimmers that participated in the second meet of the season. We had a great time cheering and laughing. Thank you to our coaches and parent volunteers. We had 131 Personal Bests, 10 Top 20 finishes, 8 Top 10 finishes, 2-1st Place finishes and based on 2026 Qualifying Time cuts, 5 swimmers achieved 7 Championship Qualifying swims.

Congratulations to Kamsi, Allie, Max, Westen, Piper, Harper, Brendan, Jason, Melanie for their top 20 swims.

2026 Qualifying Time Cuts: Dara Anyalebechi (13/14) 50 Free & 100 Free, Kamsi Anyalebechi (Jr Champs) 50 Free & 100 Fly, Westen Enfinger (11/12) 100 Fly, Brendan Rockefeller (Jr Champs) 100 Back, Jason Vericker (11/12) 50 Breast.

We also had several swimmers achieve Season Best times. Season bests are not personal bests but help us keep track of our progress as we move through the season. We had 29 Season Bests, congratulations to those swimmers.

Don’t forget to register for our third meet of the season, registration deadline is Sunday 10/26.

Sunday 10/26 GMU practice will be held at Manassas Park.
