Email from Coach Russ November 10, 2025: Cub Run Middle School Time change and Loughmiller Memorial Invitational Meet Recap

Good Morning

Congratulations to all of our swimmers that participated in our third meet of the season. This meet was a lot of fun. Hope the swimmers enjoyed it. Thank you to our coaches and parent volunteers. We had 153 Personal Bests, 65 Top 20 finishes, 61 Top 10 finishes, 5-1st Place finishes and based on 2026 Qualifying Time cuts, 7 swimmers achieved 13 Championship Qualifying swims.

2026 Qualifying Time Cuts: Dara Anyalebechi (13/14) 50 Free, Kamsi Anyalebechi (Jr Champs) 50 Free,100 Free,100 Fly, 200 Fly, Emily Castilleja (9/10) 50 Free, Lou Murphy (Jr Champs) 100 Fly, Brendan Rockefeller (Jr Champs) 100 Back, 200 Back, 50 Free, Dominic Stockard (Jr Champs) 50 Free, 100 Breast, Melanie Yi (11/12) 50 Fly.

We also had several swimmers achieve Season Best times. Season bests are not personal bests but help us keep track of our progress as we move through the season. We had 42 Season Bests, congratulations to those swimmers.

Results have been uploaded to Team Unify, you can check results in your team unify account. If you are new to USA Swimming you can download the Meet Mobile app for real time results. Please note if you see (L) next to a time, that means your swimmer swam Lead Off in the relay and that time counts.

Cub Run middle school group, starting today, Monday & Wednesday practice is 2:30 – 3:30 until Feb 1. Friday practice remains 3:00 - 4:00.
