Congratulations to all athletes and parents on passing the STAR exam last Saturday. Keep shining!
Our first full month of being back at the pool went very well, thank you! Athletes are happy, coaches are working hard to get everyone back on track and parents are supporting their kids as always.
A more serious and urgent matter: as you know during the difficult period behind us, our coaches had to take a pay cut, for the month of June this is also the case, unfortunately we did not receive all contributions to cover costs. Please for those who have not yet contacted our treasurer Memita, do so before the end of this week. In order for our coaches to get their full salaries from now on, it is imperative that the monthly dues are deposited. Thank you for your cooperation on this delicate and urgent matter.
In the months of July and August, a special training camp for all athletes will be organized. Usually, there are no fees collected during these months, however, since we are trying to bring things back to as normal as possible, the fee will be reduced to 125 florin per month. The schedule will be distributed before the end of the week. We will also organize some team building and fun activities during these months for the barracudas family.
Annual Summer Camp: As it has grown customary, this year we will organize the annual summer camp to recruit new athletes on the dates of 3 – 8 of August, from 9am – 12pm and it will cost 150 florin for the week. So, if you can help in spreading the news would be great!
On July 11th we will organize a Barracudas Beach Get Together! Bringing everyone together for a fun family day at the beach. Parents and siblings are all welcome. Please mark your calendars, time to be announced.
Also on July 11th, is the deadline to submit all raffle books and deposit all monies related to this fundraising activity. If you still have books left, please try to sell these or submit the remainder books. Drawing date is July 25th.
Additionally, on July 25th there will be the solo presentation, which the athletes have been working hard on. Such a great way to showcase and enjoy this beautiful sport. Please remember to bring the entire family to this grand event.
