Calendar of Events 2021-2022 Season

Below you will find an overview of local/international competitions for this season. This information will also be available soon on our website www.barracudasaruba.com

Events, Ideas, and Volunteers

In a regular season, fundraising has become a way of making sure the operational costs of the club are covered. Unfortunately, the previous season has been anything but normal. Nevertheless, we would like to kick off the 2021-2022 season with at least a fun walk fundraising event. In 2019, the Sint & Piet walk was a great success. All ideas are welcome.

In addition to fundraising events, we would like to do a kick-off event, since the end of the 2020-2021 season did not take place. This can be anything from a family day at the beach or something more special like a neon pool party. Volunteers are an integral part of any successful non-profit organization, and it is, therefore, we ask for your help and join our crew! Send an email to: [email protected]

Coaching Staff

The Barracudas has been through a lot of changes in the past few months. First, on behalf of the board, we would like to thank coach Yami for holding up the fort throughout these turbulent times. We also thank coach Kyra, coach Nathania and coach Alva for their support, jumping in whenever needed. We heard that coach Chihiro is recuperating well, and that is great news! Coach Nineth will be here for a few weeks and will bring some balance during her stay. In the meanwhile, we are still in contact with potential coaches who are interested and qualified to join the Barracudas team.

That's all for now folks!
