IMPORTANT - 2024 Team Registration and Information

Welcome back Bullfrog swimmers/divers and parents!

We are so excited to kick off the 2024 summer swim & dive season at Hy-Crest. Please find some important information for the upcoming season. We ask that returning swimmers please complete the online Google registration and team suit ordering as soon as possible, but no later than 5/8/2024 in order to allow enough time for lead time on suits, as well as cap and t-shirt orders.

  1. 2024 Swim & Dive Team Registration - we are using a Google Form for registration. The link to that form can be found here. As in previous years, the costs for the team include a Hy-Crest team t-shirt and a Hy-Crest logo swim cap. This form captures the items that were previously on the paper form, including contact info, t-shirt sizes, and whether you are signing up for swim team, dive team, or both, as well as some important information, including:

    • Big Fish/Little Fish - This program is a swim team social program designed to assign young swimmers a buddy in an older swimmer for the season. They bring each other small gifts at swim meets (candy, small toys, etc.). If you are interested, please opt in to Big Fish/Little Fish for the season on the Google form for your swimmer(s).

    • Payment - Please pay by check made out to Hy-Crest Swim & Dive Team via Venmo to our Registration Coordinator (@Carrie-Albanese). If using Venmo, please notate fees for 2024 Hy-Crest S&D team and family name. Payment has to be received before your child(ren) will be allowed to practice with the team.

  2. Team Swimsuits - we will utilize the same TYR swimsuit from last year (TYR Diploria Green). The suits are available for order from Swimville USA either online, by phone, or in store (in Kenwood). If you know what size you need, you can use this Swimville link to register and order your Hy-Crest suit at our team discount. If you do not know your size we will have a try on kit at Meet the Coaches. I am attaching detailed instructions to this email to order the team suits. 

  3. 2024 Swim & Dive Meet Schedule - now available on Team Unify. Please feel free to begin to mark these dates on your calendars and to declare your swimmers/divers for meets.

  4. New & Returning Officials - We need officials! We cannot run our swim meets without them. Training to be an official is relatively simple and no prior experience is necessary. Please consider training to be an official for the upcoming swim season. The Tri-County Swim League will be offering officials training on 2 upcoming dates, 5/7 7-9 pm (Mason - 6050 Mason-Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040) & 5/23 6-8 pm at Landen (8873 Creekwood Ln, Maineville, OH 45039). Both new and returning officials should plan to attend either of these dates.

  5. Important Upcoming Dates - 

    • Meet the Coaches/Parents Meeting - Saturday, 5/11 2 pm

    • Golf Outing @ Beckett Ridge Golf Course Saturday, 5/19 - SIGNUP ASAP!! If you have questions, please reach out to Allen Albanese ([email protected]). The full day of activities includes:

      • 18 holes of  golf on one of West Chester’s legendary courses, Beer / Drinks / Food /  Golf Cart / Games, Competitions for the longest drive, longest putt and closest-to-the-pin with prizes awarded

    • Evening practices begin - tentatively 5/20 M-F practice

      • Ages 11 & Over: 4:30 - 5:30 pm

      • Ages 7 - 10: 5:30 - 6:30 pm

      • Ages 6 & Under: 6:30 - 7 pm

    • Morning practices begin Tuesday, 5/28

    • **New for 2024** Evening Practice Option - Evening practice for swim team will be offered 2 evenings per week on Monday and Thursday evenings for swimmers that cannot make morning practice or need a makeup session, . Times are TBD, but likely between 5:30 - 7:30. This will be when the pool is open to the normal membership, so this practice option will need to be respectful of the other members using the pool during this time. More info TBD.

    • Intrasquad Blue/Green Meet Thursday, 5/30 @ 6 pm

    • SAVE THE DATES - Chris McCullough Invitational 6/28 (10 & Under) & 6/29 (11 & Over). TCSL Championships dates will likely be the week of 7/15
