2025-2026 Winter Registration Now Open

Eligiblity

At this time, in accordance with Mechanicsburg Recreation guidelines, we are only accepting new swimmers that live in the Mechanicsburg Area School District.

Registration Timeline

Registration for returning swimmers during the fall/winter season will open in late September and open in late April for the spring/summer season. All new swimmers must be evaluated before they can register for the season.

Evaluations

IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN A MEMBER OF MSC OR HAVE NOT BEEN WITH THE CLUB IN OVER TWO YEARS YOU MUST HAVE A NEW SWIMMER EVALUATION BEFORE REGISTERING.

MSC is not a Learn to Swim Program. A swimmer must be comfortable remaining in the water independently. While coaches will teach strokes, dives & turns, each swimmer should have a certain amount of swim knowledge prior to being evaluated. Evaluations are used to determine appropriate practice group and to ensure safety of all swimmers.

Evaluations are scheduled on 10/1, 10/2, 10/6 and 10/7.  Evaluations will be in the evenings.

Payment Plan

Please contact [email protected] if you need to set up a payment plan for the Winter Season, prior to completing the registration. The payment plan is split into 3 payments. We need 3 post dated checks turned in at the beginning of the season.

Invitational Meet Fees

Registration does not cover participation in invitational meets and/or USA Swimming meets which may carry additional participation fees.  Invitational meets are optional and per event fees will be listed on the signup page. 

Practices

Be sure to check the schedule weekly- we do our best to keep it consistent for all practice groups but some fluctuation may occur.

Mandatory Practice Equipment

Starting this season all swimmers will be required to bring the necessary equipment (see below) to practice each day.  It is highly recommended that swimmers use a mesh bag to transport and store equipment to ensure proper drying.  

Required equipment: 

All Groups: Kickboard, pull buoy, flippers, and hand paddles   

Steel: Snorkel (in addition to the above)

Meets

All meets will be listed on the MSC calendar.  Master schedule, once posted will be on the league page.

Required Swim Meet Suit

Swimmers are required to wear the arena team suit or a plain black arena suit.
