Chance Sports Scholarships

A message from Jackie Stiff, Executive Director of Colorado Swimming.

"Recently, CSI has begun to collaborate with Chance Sports, a local nonprofit founded by State Senator James Coleman. Chance Sports’ mission is to level the playing field and open doors to competitive sports that may be closed to athletes due to lack of resources. Chance Sports partners with competitive sports clubs and provides scholarship funds directly to participating athletes who demonstrate need. Athletes in clubs who partner with Chance may apply for scholarships directly through Chance.  Chance offers scholarships on a sliding scale (e.g., 75%, 50% 25% of the annual cost of a sport, including club fees, travel and equipment costs).  Applications are reviewed and, if approved, Chance provides funds directly to the athlete’s family in the form of a digital debit card."   Visit https://chancesports.org/ to learn more.
