Coaches and Directors
With over 10 years of involvement in competitive swimming, I bring a deep love for the sport and an unwavering commitment to the development of swimmers at every level. Whether working with beginners or experienced athletes, my goal is to help swimmers gain confidence in the water, improve their technique, and achieve their personal best.
My boys joined the Piranhas in 2018. Through their participation with the swim team, both of my sons have competed at the state level each year; my youngest son starting at the age of 5. I have been a volunteer league official for many years. This experience helped me understand the technical aspects of each stroke. I look forward to passing along this knowledge regarding proper stroke execution so our swimmers receive less disqualifications.
My coaching philosophy is centered on building strong relationships with athletes, creating tailored training programs, and fostering an environment where swimmers feel supported in their goals. As a former competitive figure skater, I understand the need for proper training methods to prevent injury and grow as an athlete. With a focus on both technique and fitness, I will help swimmers develop the skills they need to excel, while cultivating their enjoyment of the sport.
Thank you for trusting your swimmers with me this season. Go Piranhas!
Hi! I'm TJ Evagash and I love swimming. I've been swimming since I was 7 years old. In that time I've become a highly experienced swimmer who specializes in freestyle sprinting. I recently went to the high school state championships and competed in the 50 and 100 freestyle, two extremely fast and competitive events.
While I do love sprints, I am a very well-rounded swimmer. I have qualified for every event and competed at state each summer. With this experience, I know what works well and what doesn't. I believe that any swimmer can get to that same level with the right training and instruction. Alongside Coaches Lauren and Lee, I want to help each and every swimmer improve their swimming ability and achieve their goals.
I'm greatly looking forward to our season this summer. Go Piranhas!
