Manor Monsters Swim Update for the Week of 6/20/2021

Greetings, Manor Monster Swim families!

As promised, we are sending out our Weekly Update through both our email list and on our new TeamUnify site. We have lots to get to this week, including action items for you regarding our new website, so let's get cracking!

TeamUnify - LOG IN, AVAILABILITY, AND VOLUNTEERING

Everyone should have received a separate email about the launch of our new team website. There are action items to complete today - log in, indicate swimmer availability, and volunteer for this week's meets. Please check your email to find the step-by-step PDF that will help you get squared away. Please make time to do this today - it should take 10 minutes or less!

WASHINGTON GOLF @ MANOR - 6/22/2021

Washington Golf crosses the river to visit us tomorrow night for our first in-division meet of the season! Here are the particulars:

Date: Tuesday, June 22

Location: Manor CC

Time: Warm-ups at 5:20 pm; Meet begins at 6:30 pm

What to bring: goggles, cap (MCC if you have one, or another cap - preferably not from another team), team suit, cover-up, small activities to keep swimmers occupied between events (cards and small games are great), towel, something to wear if it gets chilly, and YOUR MANOR MANNERS

Food and beverage: The Manor pizza oven will be available under the upstairs dining room balcony. The Pool Snack Bar will also be open for food and beverage service. A chit bar will be available on the pavilion.

KENWOOD @ MANOR - 6/24/2021

Our second in-division meet of the season is against Kenwood, here at home on Thursday! You know the drill...

Date: Thursday, June 24

Location: Manor CC

Time: Warm-ups at 5:20 pm; Meet begins at 6:30 pm

SUITS

We still have a few suits from our original order that haven't been picked up, including a few Mini's suits. The box will be in the guard house starting tomorrow morning - please pick up your family's bag (all suits for your family should be in one bag) and check your name off the list to indicate you picked up. I will email families directly about any late or delayed orders - we did have a few late suits come in last Friday night!

CAPS

Our caps are finally being produced and will hopefully be here this week! The manufacturer was out of navy so we went with the same design, but with a white background. We will let you know as soon as they will be available for sale at meets. Either the navy or white cap can be worn during meets.

SAVE THE DATE - 10 & UNDER LOLLIPOP MEET @ NORBECK!

Norbeck has invited us to their 10U Lollipop Meet on the evening of Wednesday, July 21! This is a really fun developmental meet for our younger swimmers that culminates in their receiving...you guessed it...a big lollipop for all their effort once they finish their swims! We are awaiting word on whether Mini's will participate in this meet too - stay tuned!
