CCSDA Officials Training

Hello Manor Monsters,

The official welcome to the 2022 Swim Season will be arriving shortly, but there is a need to get this information out immediately.  Each meet we have during the season requires six certified officials. Each team provides three officials, two stroke and turn judges and either a starter or a referee. So each year, we need a group of parents to take the training in advance of the season so we are able to provide the needed officials. 

This year there several options available for training. CCSDA, our league, will provide training over the next few weeks via Zoom. Each training takes about 90 minutes. New officials will take the Stroke and Turn training. Our primary need is to have about 10 parents certified as Stroke and Turn officials. Those who have been Stroke and Turn officials for a few seasons can take the Referee/Starter training as well. Training is on Zoom and starts at 7:30 PM. 

May 23rd - Stroke and Turn

May 24th - Referee/Starter

June 1 - Stroke and Turn

June 6 - Referee/Starter

June 8 - Stroke and Turn, Referee and Starter Refresher for Veteran Officials

MCSL and NVSL also offer training that can be used as well. If you are a PVS official with current training, you do not need further certification. If you take training elsewhere or are already certified, please let me know so I can add you to the officials roster.
