Information About and Volunteers Needed for Remaining Meets

Hello Manor Monsters,

As we approach the end of the season, I wanted to lay out the schedule and our obligations for each meet to provide volunteers.

A Division Championships is on Tuesday July 19th at Congressional. Manor has been assigned the following positions: a Referee, a Stroke and Turn Judge, a Clerk of Course, two take off judges, one ribbon writer, two people for t-shirt sales from 6 PM-7 PM and five timers. We need to identify all of these volunteers by Sunday night and submit them to Congressional. So that is 13 positions we need to fill. If you are willing to fill one of those positons, please go to TeamUnify or OnDeck and grab one of them now.

Our makeup meet with Army Navy is on Wednesday July 20th at Manor. We have the normal duties to fill for that meet. Please volunteer as you can.

Swim Championships will be Monday and Tuesday, July 25th and 26th, at Kenwood. If there are any positions that you would like to be considered for at Champs, please let me know and I will submit your name to the committee that makes the assignments. Positions include Referee, Starter, Stroke and Turn, Head Timer, Take Off Judge, and Colorado Operator. We also have the responsibility to run the trophy room on Tuesday. Manor and Montgomery will need to provide 1 or 2 people each to be in the trophy room for the morning session and the afternoon session. The responsibilities are to take the labels and afix them to the trophies and medals and then put them in the appropriate team's box. It is imperative that we fill this responisibility. We also need to provide a few timers per session and may be asked to fill some other positions by the host club.

Please consider volunteering early for these positions. Jenny, Steve and I have a lot to do over the next few weeks and chasing down volunteers is a taxing responsibility. We thank everyone who does volunteer. We can't do the meets without you.
