2025 Meet The Coaches Night: May 20th 7-8:30PM in the Presidents Hall

WGCC offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of WGCC to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Swim Team Head Coach: Evan Stiles

Any child, 18 years of age or younger, of a WGCC member may join the Swim Team.  Children may join the Swim Team at any time during the season. Children ages 10 and under will be grouped according to ability.

Practice Schedule Summer 2025

May 19th  through June 13th (prior to Arlington County school release):

Monday-Friday

11 and over: 4:00-5:00pm

10 and under A - Advanced 5:00-6:00PM

10 and under B - Beginner 6:00-7:00PM

        *This group will begin practice Tuesday May 27th, after evaluations are complete.

June 16th through July 25th 

Monday-Friday

10 and under A- Advanced: 8:00-9:00am

11 and over: 9:00-10:00am

10 and under B - Beginner: 10:00-10:45am

Swim Team Evaluations

All 10 & Under Swimmers new to the team this year AND those who were not legal in all four strokes last season must complete an evaluation so that they can be properly placed into one of our two 10 & Under Practice Groups. Evaluations will be held Monday May19 th through Friday May 23rd from 6:00-7:00pm. 

In order to be on the team, the swimmer must be able to swim one length of the pool unassisted. 

11 & Over Swimmers are not required to do an evaluation. 

If you are unsure whether or not your swimmer needs to do an evaluation please email the head coach!
