Stevenson Leads the Cougars in Multiple Personal Records Set at the Section 7AA True Team Meet
The Centennial Cougars competed in Section 7AA True Team meet on January 15, 2022. The team had extremely successful performances in the water as 42 of the races the Cougars swam were either personal records or season best times.
After the meet, Head Coach Pete Crawford rightly chose senior swimmer Dominic Stevenson as the Cougars' “Swimmer of the Meet” due to his dropping a half second in the 50 backstroke, four seconds in the 100 butterfly, two seconds in the 100 backstroke and one second in the 100 freestyle from his previous personal lifetime best swims.
Cougar medal winners at the meet were Dominic Stevenson, Evan Stokkeland, Quentin Lehman, Ben Condon in the 200 Medley Relay; George Atkinson in the 200 Freestyle; Connor Herbrechtsmeyer in the 50 Freestyle; George Atkinson in the 100 Butterfly; Ben Loehr, Quentin Lehman, Alex Larkin, Connor Hebrechtsmeyer in the 200 Freestyle Relay; Dominic Stevenson in the 100 Backstroke and Dominic Stevenson, Joesph Murray, Ben Condon, George Atkinson in the 400 Freestyle Relay.

The next meet on the Cougars' 2021-22 season calendar will be "Seniors’ Night" against Champlin Park. All the athletes and coaches are awaiting the return of a full team roster since an abundant number of their teammates have been sick during the past two weeks of practices and swimming meets.
