The Cougars Devour the Orioles During Parent's Night

Coach Kevin Setterholm

The Cougars competed at home against the very small Orioles Swimming and Diving Team on January 12.  From the start of the meet to its end Centennial dominated Osseo by outscoring them in ten of the twelve events.   The 99 to 79 score was a nice gift to all of the Centennial parents that came to the meet to be honored by their athletes during Parent’s Night.

The highlight of the meet was eighth grader Benno Schuhbauer who set middle school records in both the 50 backstroke and 100 Freestyle.

Centennial first place finishes were turned in by:

  • 200 Medley Relay – George Atkinson, Max Scheurer, Alex Larkin, Ben Condon
  • 200 IM – Max Scheurer
  • 1 Meter Diving – Tyler Celotta
  • 100 Butterfly – George Atkinson
  • 100 Freestyle – Max Scheurer
  • 100 Backstroke – George Atkinson
