A Second Win Over Blaine Makes a 5 Wins and 2 Losses Dual Meet Season

Coach Kevin Setterholm

Centennial ended its dual meet season by trouncing Blaine on February 2, 2003.  During the lopsided meet, Centennial captured eleven first place finishes.  The Cougars also had first and second place combination finishes in the 200 Freestyle, Diving and the 400 Freestyle Relay; and they swept the top three spots the 200 IM, the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke.

This year's second victory over the Bengals gives Centennial a 5 wins and 2 losses record for 2022-23 and firmly places the Cougars fifth in the twelve team conference. Head coach Pete Crawford was very happy to end the dual meet season with a win and believes that this positive momentum will boost his athletes into tournament phase of the season over the next four weeks as they compete in the Junior Varsity Championships, Section 7AA Championships and the State Championships meets.
