Dual Meet #4

Wilde Lake vs. Huntington

Saturday, July 12th, 2025

@ Huntington Pool

7AM-12PM

Below is a list of important things you need to know about meets:

  • Home Meets (those meets at Huntington Pool): Warms Ups 7:00 am
  • Away Meets (those meets not at Huntington Pool): Warm ups 7:30 am
  • All Meets start at 8:00 am and are usually complete by Noon if not earlier.
  • When you arrive at a meet please go check in with the Clerk of Course so we know you are in attendance.
  • You will want to bring a chair or blanket for you and your swimmers to sit. Many families bring sun tents as well.  Please set up on the left side of the pool (the side with the baby pool).
  • Younger swimmers (8 and under swimmers) it is the parent’s responsibility to make sure swimmers get in line to swim. Older swimmers are responsible for getting in line to swim themselves.
  • Never leave a meet without telling the coach, a team manager, or the clerk of course.  Your swimmer may be in a relay and if he or she leaves without letting us know we cannot replace them in a timely manner forcing us to scratch that relay.
  • Volunteering –  Did you know that it takes over 40 volunteers to run a swim meet? We cannot run a meet without LOTS of parent support. To volunteer to help at a meet, visit the team website to sign up for a volunteer job. Job Descriptions are at the end of this document.
  • Swimmers (or parent delegate managing swimmer’s Team Unify account) need to DECLARE if swimmer will be in attendance for a meet or not.
  • If you have not let us know your status for the meet by midnight on the Tuesday before the meet, your swimmer will not be placed in the lineup for that meet.
  • Coaches set the lineups for meets.  Coaches pick all of the events swimmers will swim.   If your swimmer has an event they want to try, the coaches will give them opportunities as the season progresses. But, the coaches have the final say in what swimmers swim each meet.
  • Lineups will be posted by Friday evening on the team website. Each swimmer can swim 2 individual events and a relay.  Please note that not all swimmers will swim on a relay.

There will NOT be line up cards again this season (subject to change)! We ask that parents write the swimmers events on their arm the morning of (or night before) the meet, in the format below.
