Hi Snappers!! My name is Nour Farah, and this is my 5th year coaching Snappers and my 3rd year as Head Coach. This fall I will be a Junior at the University of Maryland, double majoring in Accounting and International Business. Outside of swim I enjoy trying new foods, going to concerts, and spending time with my friends and family. I absolutely adore this team and am so happy to be back to finish up my Snappers career! Let’s make this a summer to remember!

Hi Snappers! My name is Marisa Otero and this is my third year coaching for Snappers! I’m a graduating senior from Howard high school and in the fall I will be attending McDaniel College where I plan on majoring in Elementary Education. I will also be swimming for their college team! This is my 12th and last year swimming for snappers but it is not my last year as a coach. Other than swimming, I enjoy playing volleyball and hanging out with family and friends. I’m so excited to have a great season this year. We’re gonna have so much fun!

Izzy Baek

Hi Snappers! My name is Izzy Baek and I am a rising junior at River Hill High School. This is my first year coaching, but I grew up swimming for the Pointers Run Piranhas. I’ve been competitively swimming for 9 years and I am currently on Clippers. Outside of swim I enjoy going to the beach, visiting my brother and sister on the west coast, seeing my friends, and relaxing with my dog! I’m looking forward to getting to know all of my swimmers and their families, as well as having a fun season this summer!!

Joshua Ma

Hi Snappers! I’m Joshua Ma, and I’m super excited to be joining the team as an Assistant Coach this summer. I’m a rising junior at Glenelg High School, and I swam competitively for five years. This is also my second year lifeguarding for Columbia Association. Outside of swimming, I enjoy playing tennis, the trumpet, and spending time with family and friends. I can’t wait to get to know all the swimmers and help make this season fun, encouraging, and full of progress!

This is our family’s fifth year with the Snappers, and my second as a Team Manager. I have two boys, Graham, 12, and Noah, 11, and we adore summer swim! From the minute the boys put on their red and black and jumped in, we knew we had found a special place.

I am excited to help create great swim memories for you and your families. If there’s anything I can do to help, please don’t hesitate to ask. I may look busy, but am never too busy to help you, and if I don’t have an answer for you right away, I promise to get you one quickly!

Our coaches, families, managers and the entire Snappers community is a special place, and I know you will find yourselves counting down the days till summer for many years to come!
