How do I register?
- Register in-house or online here.
How many months do I register for?
- You must register for all posted months, but can opt out of months your family is unavailable either upfront or prior to that billing session (first of the month).
When do I owe the deposit?
- Deposits are due for the year-round league (September-May) and then again for the summer league (June-July).
Do I have to attend swim meets?
- No, but they are an excellent opportunity for your child(ren) to experience competetive sport in a combined team and individual sport environment. As a bonus, if you attend even just one YMCA swim meet in the regular season, you automatically qualify for the YMCA Championship meet where we get to represent our organization as one big team and have the opportunity to win another State Championship!
What types of meets to we do compete in?
- CYSL is the Carolina YMCA Swim League and offers meets within our entire region, which allows us to compete against and with other YMCAs.
- GSSL is the Grand Strand Swim League and all meets are local, competing against other local swim leagues. Both are excellent opportunities to try something new and test the skills developed in practices.
