About
Franklin High Swim & Dive is a club sport at Franklin High School in Franklin, Tennessee. The team has a long-standing tradition of excellence both in and out of the pool. Each year, we have swimmers who achieve Academic All-American honors and consistently place among the top finishers at the MTHSSA Regional Meet.
Our athletes are a diverse group of students dedicated to working hard in and out of the pool. FHS Swim & Dive fosters a culture of camaraderie, team spirit, and community. We swim fast—and we have fun doing it!
The swim team practices at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, Tennessee, while our divers train at several local pools throughout the season. We compete in various meets across the Middle Tennessee area in association with Middle Tennessee High School Swimming Association (MTHSSA) and Tennessee Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA).
Swim Coach: Kevin Ingram
Our swim team is coached by Kevin Ingram. Coach Kevin is a lifelong lover of water and trained at the world-renowned North Baltimore Aquatic Club—home to the coaches who guided Michael Phelps. He’s a former CIA officer who brings unmatched leadership, discipline, and motivation to every practice and meet. Believing in coaching to the whole person, Coach Kevin develops athletes with the confidence, strength, and focus to succeed both in and out of the pool.
Dive Coach: Tim Jones
Our divers are coached by Dr. Tim Jones in association with The Middle Tennessee Dive Program. Tim is an Associate Professor and past Aquatic Director for the Human Performance & Sports Science department at Tennessee State University, has been the Head Coach and Director of the Middle Tennessee Dive Program for over 20 years and has been coaching middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes for over 30 years. Over the years, MTD has trained divers competing in the Nashville Summer Dive League, numerous Middle and High School Swim and Dive teams, USA Diving and AAU Diving, Regional, Zone, and National Championships, and has had several divers continue on to Collegiate Diving Programs.
