Gaels Victorious in First Meet of 2018
The Bishop Gorman Swim & Dive team opened up the 2018 season with victories for both the girls and boys teams over Shadow Ridge! The girls won a nail biter 148-146 while the boys took control early and won convincingly 177-109.
There are so many positive take always from the meet that it is truly overwhelming. From start to finish the Gaels were into the meet, cheering and racing hard. Several teammates stepped up as leaders and made contributions to the team. Without those sacrifices, the results would have certainly been different. The Coaching Staff is extremely proud of our team and ecstatic looking for the rest of the season. AWESOME JOB BISHOP GORMAN!
Looking ahead to the week of March 19...
We have a busy week ahead going into Spring Break featuring TWO swim meets.
The first meet is Thursday, March 22 at Pavilion Center pool after school. The registration deadline is TONIGHT! More information to come mid-week. We will not have practice this night.
Second, we have the Spring Break Invite Meet Saturday, March 24. The registration deadline is tomorrow night (March 19)!
Reminder: if you do not declare for the meet, you will be entered and expected to compete!
