Gaels Split vs Green Valley in First Meet of 2019

In the first meet of the 2019 Season, the Bishop Gorman Swim & Dive team swam to a split result vs a very competitive Green Valley High School. On the women's side, the Gaels emerged victorious over the defending state champions! The final score was an impressive 154-139 win. On the men's side, the Gaels fell to the Gators 120-185.

Both the men's and women's teams raced hard and the coaches loved seeing the team spirit supporting our teammates. The coaches could also not be more impressed with our overall performances at the meet. Everyone was on time for warm up and was ready to race every event! As coaches, we cannot ask for more than that at our first competition of the season. We had several teammates step out of their comfort zone and try new events, and achieve new personal bests. Although we have a lot to work on, as far as first meets go, this one could not have gone much better. Well done Gaels!
