Double Victories for Bishop Gorman in Week 2

The Bishop Gorman Swim & Dive Team faced off against Sierra Vista High School in Week 2 of the 2019 season. At the final touch, both the Gaels Men's and Women's teams emerged victorious over the Mountain Lions. The ladies notched their 2nd win of the season with a final score of 167-138 pushing their record to 2-0 on the year. The gentlemen bounced back nicely from last week to earn their first win of the season with a score of 165-105.
 
The afternoon was highlighted by several improvements from week 1 to week 2. During practice this week, our main focus was on finishes and flip turns. That focus was evident throughout the meet as we had several touch outs in close races and improved walls across the board! Keep up the hard work Gaels!

When: Friday, March 22
Warm up: 4:45pm
Meet Start: 5:45pm
Location: UNLV's Buchanan Natatorium

Interested in becoming a lifeguard? Clark County Parks & Rec are now hiring lifeguards, lessons instructors and cashiers. Certification classes are offered during Spring Break and throughout the Spring.
