BGHS Falls Short in Week 4
The 4th week of the 2019 Bishop Gorman Swim & Dive season featured the Gael's taking on Coronado High School in Henderson. Although we raced hard, ultimately the Gaels fell short against the Cougars on the women's and men's sides. Coronado is a perennial contender on the east side of town and it was great competition for us. The coaching staff is confident both teams will be very competitive with Coronado when we see them again in the postseason. With the losses, the women's team record is now 3-1 while the boys are 2-2 on the season.
This meet marks the halfway point of the season and the 2nd half traditionally flies by. We have two meets this week before we enter Spring Break. Keep up the hard work Gaels! The improvements we are seeing out of the group is nothing short of amazing. As we head into the 2nd half, we need to continue to focus on the little thing to keep improving.
