Weekly BGHS Swim/Dive Update (3/13)

It's finally meet week Gaels! After another week of hard work, the coaching staff can't wait to see the team in action at our first meet this coming Saturday. Please read through the notes below for more details about our first meet and some other items .
 
No Practice Monday, 3/14
Reminder we will NOT have practice on Monday, 3/14 due to CCSD not having school. You all are strongly encouraged to swim/workout on your own, or swim with your clubs teams.
 
1st Meet Commitment Deadline Today!
If you haven't already, please log into your TU account and commit to the meet for this coming Saturday. The deadline is today! I will verify with the athletes on Tuesday at practice or via text. While you are logged in, go through the rest of the season and commit to the remaining meets. You can always change your commitment if something comes up.
 
BGHS Swim/Dive 1st Meet: Week 2 @ Pavilion Center
Our first meet is Saturday, March 19 at Pavilion Center Pool. The arrival time for warm-up is 11:45am and the meet should conclude around 5pm. Details about event line ups, timing, apparel, etc will all be sent Thursday or Friday.
 
Times Database
A huge benefit of using TeamUnify as our team website is the times database feature. All meet results will be uploaded to this website following our meets so you can track your times and improvements. The coaches have also added a meet called "2022 Season Practice Times" where we are adding all times that we record in practice. If you were at the practices where we did time trials, your results are now posted. If you were on the team in the past, you can access your old times as well.
 
To access your results:
  • Log into your account
  • In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, go to "My Account"
  • "My Meet Results"
  • This will bring you to a menu with a variety of ways to see your swims
