Weekly BGHS Swim/Dive Update (5/15)
CONGRATULATIONS TO JULIE MERLIN & VALENTINO MONTEGRADE FOR QUALIFYING FOR THE 2022 NIAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!
Yesterday, the Gaels raced in the Finals session of the 5A NIAA Regional Meet. The team saw time drops and place improvements across the board as we outscored our prelims projection on both the men's and women's side. When the dust settled, Bishop Gorman finished in 4th place on the women's side, a mere 2 points out of 3rd. The men took home the 6th place position overall. While we had some very near misses on several other individual & state qualifiers, Julie & Valentinto advanced to represent the Gael at next week's state championship. Julie will be swimming in the 200 IM & 100 Back; Valentino in the 100 Fly.

Team Banquet
Tomorrow is our team banquet to celebrate the 2022 Season. The doors will open around 5:45pm. We will have dinner, and then recognize all of the Gael teammates. We have several individual awards to hand out as well. We hope to see you all there!
No practice this week!
With Regionals wrapping up, we will NOT have Bishop Gorman swim practices this week.
