BGHS Swim/Dive Weekly Update - May 5, 2024
And just like that, it is Championship season Gaels! Last week we kicked it off with a great showing at the
Last Chance meet. We had a number of teammates pick up new Regional times and even more swim the fastest they have all season. It is truly incredible how much better we have gotten in 3 short months!

This week we have the NIAA 5A Regional Championship. More info below and will be published shortly.
Do I still have to come to practice if I am not swimming at Regionals?
No. Practice on Monday is just for teammates swimming at Regionals-Prelims. Practice on Wednesday is just for teammates who advance to Reional Finals or are swimming on relays at Regional-Finals. Practice on Friday and the following week will just be for teammates who qualified for State.
**Club swimmers should continue attending their club workouts**
Regionals Meet Line-up
The Gael's Regional line-up was sent out yesterday. There were NO changes made to the line-up.
It is also posted on the Regionals Event Page on our TeamUnify website.
A separate email will be sent to all of the Regional swimmers shortly with Meet Information, including psych sheets.
Turn in Equipment Bags
If you checked out a Bishop Gorman equipment bag for the season (blue or orange mesh bag, kickboard & pull buoy),
please turn them in at practice this week or bring them to the banquet. They are team sets, not yours to own.
Team Banquet Monday, May 15
We will celebrate the 2024 Swim/Dive season on Thursday, May 23 at 6:00pm in Ryan Hall at the ATC. All teammates and family members are welcome to join us. More information to come.
