Head Coach: Grace Baltimore

Hello Valleybrook Community! My name is Grace Baltimore and this is my 5th year coaching the Valleybrook Swim Team! I've been swimming in Harford County since I was 8 years old, and I've had the opportunity to compete in various year-round teams across Harford County, as well as at the high school and college level. I currently teach 4th and 5th grade at St. Joseph School Fullerton, and I graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2021! This summer, I look forward to building a positive, tight-knit community that focuses on teamwork, friendship, and FUN! Let's have the BEST SUMMER EVER!

Assistant Coach: Abby Kozlowski

Abby Kozlowski will be returning to the Valleybrook Swim Team this year as our Assistant Coach. Abby is attending Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. She swims competitively for Randolph-Macon. Abby comes to us with a lot of teaching experience, having taught at Randolph-Macon’s community program as well as at Loyola Blakefield Aquatics, focusing in particular with young swimmers. She swam in high school for Notre Dame Preparatory School, as well as for Harford Sailfish, Rock Spring Swim Club and the former Bel Air Athletic Club. Abby’s favorite stroke is the 200 back, although she admits she also likes the 100 back and distance. Her love of swimming is contagious!

Assistant Coach: Mark Garcia

Mark will be Valleybrook’s part-time Assistant Coach this summer.  Mark is currently a student at UMBC.  He swam year round for 5 years on the Y Central Maryland (YCM) team in Abingdon. At YCM, Mark enjoyed swimming both long course and short course, where he was the highest point earner on the team. He qualified for the 26th annual YOTA-arena Capital Classic where he earned 2nd place overall in the 50 yard backstroke. Mark enjoyed breaking more than 10 event records at YCM during his time there.  Before attending UMBC, as an IB student, he swam for Edgewood High School.  As no stranger to the HSL, Mark swam his summers for the Joppatowne Tigersharks. He enjoys team sports but also understands what setting individual goals is like. Mark is a big believer in encouragement, and will be assisting with meets as well as with evening practices.
