This award is presented each year by the Ohio High School Swimming Coaches Association (OHSSCA) to a member coach in memory of one of Ohio's most dedicated coaches, Larry Lyons. Larry served the OHSSCA tirelessly in many capacities.
To be nominated, a member must have served on the executive committee and volunteered service to the coaches association in the same spirit as did Larry Lyons.
