Volunteer Jobs!! IMPORTANT!

Goodmorning Swim and Dive Team

Its Volunteer Talk time!!!  We have some extended board positions available.  These jobs would fulfill your volunteer committment for the season. (Note: families with one swimmer need to volunteer 3 times and families with two or more swimmers need to volunteer 4 times during the season.)  See below for open positions and descriptions.  Experience is not necessary.  We will get anyone trained quickly.  If you will not be at a meet....that does not mean you cannot take the position.  We can always help fill in when you cannot be there.

Meet Directors: Runs logistics of each dual meet, have all meet supplies ready. Assist Volunteer Coordinator getting parents to their jobs. 

Head Table Coordinator: This person manages staffing for Head Table; Set up Training each pre-season with LBSL and/or private training. 

Photography/Social Media: Traci Curtis (since 2021)Takes pictures at practices, meets, and any other team events when possible. Posts pictures on Facebook, Instagram, and on our website. 

Officials Coordinator: Charlene Lawton (since 2019) - This position will be OPEN for 2023 - please inquire if interested!

Manages staffing for strokes and turns officials and Starter positions. Sets up training sessions with the LBSL Head of Officials

Mouse Parent Coordinator: Makes sure new mouse parents understand their role at meets. Holds informal meetings to explain position. Explains relay and event sequences. 

Volunteer Coordinators: This person is responsible for making sure each dual meet is staffed with volunteers to successfully run meet. Most of the work is done behind the scenes prior to the meets. Before each meet, this person is responsible to make sure all volunteers are checked in and performing their responsibility. This person makes sure each family fulfills their volunteer requirements. Sets up jobs in Team Unify. Sends email reminders to families about jobs.

Fundraising: Coordinate the sales of 50/50, pretzels and waters at all home meets. (We will ask for Pretzels and Water to be donated to each meet) This person needs to work the sales table.
