Off to a Great Start!

The 2023 LMT season is underway with a great showing at the Coldwater Classic!  The LMT Crocs took home first place in the Blue Division.  Both Crocs and Gators had a great showing on Thursday night and Sunday morning.  Congratulations to all the swimmers who participated!  Your hard work during practice showed and many of you had best times.  The coaches saw good backstroke flag counts, breastroke and butterfly 2 hand touches and freestyle streamlines.  We will continue to strive for faster times, better technique and improved stroke mechanics.

This was the first meet for some swimmers and there are many things to remember.

Please bring at least 2 towels, a healthy snack, drink, extra goggles/LMT cap, warm clothes (sweatshirt), and of course your LMT suit.  You may bring cards, books, magazines but NO electronics.  Please sit and stay with your age group.  This will help the coaches and/or parens find you for your event.  When you finish your swim - stay in the water until all swimmers in your heat finish.  Then make sure to shake hands with the lanes next to yours.  Stay til the end of the meet unless you talk to a coach.  

We are 4 weeks into the seaason and our dual meets start this Thursday, June 29.  Please make sure you declare YES or NO in Team Unify.  You only declare for your team, Crocs or Gators.  If you don't declare - you will not be entered in the meet.  For this Thursday's meet on the 29, you must declare by Monday at midnight.  Ask a coach or board member if you need help.
