Welcome to the 2024 LMT swim season !!!!!
With only a few days away from the beginning of the 2024 swim season we wanted to get some information out to you. We apologize for the lengthy email but wanted to get this information to you.
We are really excited to see all of our returning swim families as well as all of our new families. Returning families; please take a moment to introduce yourself to anyone new. We all remember how intimidating your first season with this massive crew can be. New families; we will get you up to speed and comfortable with all things swim and dive in no time!!! Please ask lots of questions.
NEW SWIMMER EVALUATIONS:
Evaluations will be head on Tuesday May 28th from 6-7:30. It is first come first serve. When you walk down to the lap pool you will check in at the table. We will give you a number. Please wait to hear one of the coaches call your number OR say your name. Your swimmer will go with the coach to swim. Once your child completes the evaluation you are free to go. Coaches will notify famliies if they feel your swimmer should participate in developmental this year. If you do not hear from the coaches then we will see you on Wednesday at your appropriate practice.
SWIM ONLY AFTERNOON PRACTICE SCHEDULES
Afternoon Practice Schedule â Tuesday, May 28th ONLY
3:30-5 PM Ages 12 and up (middle schoolers come as soon as you are able!)
4:45-6 PM Ages 9, 10, 11
Afternoon Practice Schedule â All Weekdays, M-Fâ: Begins Wednesday, May 29th through Friday, June 14th
3:30-5 PM Ages 12 and up (middle schoolers come as soon as you are able!)
4:45-6 PM Ages 9, 10, 11
5:45-6:45 PM Ages 8 and Under
What is needed for practice:
- A positive attitude
- Sneakers and socks *All afternoon practices will need sneakers for Dryland
- water bottle
- towel (thick for land drills)
- flippers (fins)
- swim cap
- goggles
- warm clothes
- Tote bag to store and carry all of the above.
***All famlies are required to volunteer at swim meetts. If you have one child swimming you are required to voulnteer for least 3 jobs and 4 jobs if you have more than one swimmer.***
We will be hosting parent information sessions on swim meet job requirements. During these meetings we will go over each of the jobs and the responsibilities of each. It would be a good idea if you are a new parent to plan on attending one of the meetings. We will be holding these meetings at the beginning of each practice next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
DIVE: ONLY AFTERNOON PRACTICE SCHEDULE
May 28th - June 14th (Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time for stretch and dryland)
3:30-4:30 pm Age 13+
4:30-5:30 pm Age 9-12
5:30-6:30 pm Age 8 & Under
TEAM SUITS
Orders for team suits have been placed. If you have not purchased a team suit no need to worry. We will try and have suit swap the first few weeks of practice. So if you have any old suits that you can no longer use please bring them to practice and donate them to another swimmer.

SPIRIT STORE closes May 30th
LMT swimmers and divers- the spirit store has launched and will be open through midnight on Thursday, May 30th.
