2024 Wrap up
Dear LMT Swimmers and Families,
It’s been a great season! Superman glides and streamlines. Look at the flags and count your strokes. Dolphin kicks. Mouse houses. Glide. Reach. Fun Fridays. Shake hands. Scream your heads off. Cheer. Concessions. Thank your coaches. Hug your friends. Say goodbye to our seniors going away to college. Yeah, we did it up in 2024!

And, a word about our coaches…
You make the team what it is! We are all grateful for the excellent instruction and fun times. Bridget, Brooke, Charlene, Deanna, Elizabeth, Kiera, Liam, Melanie, Michael, Michelle, Miles. Thank you! You are amazing!
Our volunteers…
Parents, that’s you! It’s not easy, but you made it all happen. What a wonderful gift you have given your child. Please know that all of us here at LMT appreciate your time and commitment. We could not do it without you. Thank you, all!
Our board…
Board members, you have exhibited excellence in leadership and we appreciate your guidance and dedication. Thank you for caring about the safety, fun, and quality of swim for our children. You have made a difference. We are grateful. Many thanks!
Our team spirit…
A word of congratulations goes out to our Tuesday’s Swimmers of the Meet: Grace Plews and Ian Chhabria, and our Thursday’s Swimmer of the Meet: Connor Halligan. Way to go! Your never-say-quit attitude makes you stand out in a crowd. I’m so proud of you, and I’m proud of all of our Gators’ and Crocs’ team spirit.
Our swimming…
Compliments to all swimmers on making huge progress this season and having so many successful races at meets. Crocs finished their season with a nailbiter against CORE, and Gators put up a close fight against our friends and rivals at Brookside but also came out with a loss. On Thursday, the Gators finished out their regular season, TBD.

Invitationals and Champs…
Congrats to all Odd Age participants. We had a very strong showing last week, and the swimming looked amazing. LMT got so many ribbons! Championships will round out our swim season on Saturday-7/27 and Tuesday-7/30 at the George School, and on Sunday-7/28 at LMT for those participating.
LMT swimmers and families, thanks for making it a fantastic year for all of us. It’s been a pleasure working for and with you. We say goodbye to LMT swim team for now, but I challenge you to keep the momentum, and find a way to swim often and year-round. You started something impressive this summer, now keep it going.
In the meantime, have fun watching the Olympics 2024 and getting inspired by the highest level of swimming in the world. Let the Olympians motivate you to be your fastest and your best. YOU are the future of swimming!
Meet me right back here next year, for another great season of LMT Summer Swim ‘25.
Go Gators! Go Crocs! Go LMT!
