STROKES AND TURNS TRAINING / MEET MANAGER TRAINING:
An important job to help our meets run are our Strokes and Turns Officials. We can’t run a meet without these important jobs being filled and we are looking for officials for our upcoming season. Upcoming certification clinics for LBSL are as follows:
- Monday, 6/14 @ Oreland Swim Club
- Wednesday, 6/16 @ The Continental Tavern, 2 N. Main Street, Yardley (hosted by LMT)
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to our Vice President, Charlene Lawton at [email protected]. You only need to attend ONE of these sessions (we are hosting one!) Click here for directions to all swim club locations. All clinics start at 7:00 PM.
If you are interested in being trained in using the computer system during meets or need a quick refresher, there will be a Zoom training held on Tuesday, June 15 at 7:00 PM. This training will be virtual. Meeting information is below:

PARENT MEETING – Monday, 6/14 during practices:
Our parent board will be hosting a brief parent meeting at the beginning of the 4:45 and 5:45 practices on Monday, June 14, 2021 to answer any questions and to discuss parent jobs for swim meets. How to sign up for parent volunteer jobs via the website will be reviewed.
Did you order suits or personalized cap?
Personalized cap orders and cap orders taken during registration are expected to arrive in the next two weeks. Additional non-personalized LMT caps will be available for purchase in late June. Stay tuned!
Calling all Parent Volunteers:
It takes a village to run our swim program and we are looking for parent volunteers to join our non-executive board. Open positions include meet manager, invitational/records coordinator, spirit coordinator, volunteer coordinator, and much more! Please consider stepping into one of these roles as they are crucial to fill and ensure that our season runs smoothly and efficiently. Any questions or concerns, please reach out to our team President, Megan Dougherty at [email protected] or myself.
Entering the Pool Facility:
Your child (and parent/caregiver) must bring their pool membership card and for their safety of your child(ren), anyone under age 12 must be walked to the coaches at the start of practice and picked up from coaches when practice ends. To reiterate, children under the age of 12 may NOT be dropped off at the pool entrance. Please, bring your pool pass!
Also, please check the website (www.lmtswim.com) on a regular basis. Key areas to look at are: Events (you must be signed in to view events, commit to events, and sign up for jobs), Team News, and Team Calendar. All the dates for the season can already be found on our throughout the Team Calendar!
Thank you for your continued support! GO LMT!
See you at the pool,
Coach Kathryn
