LMT Swim and Dive 2023 UPDATE!

Hello LMT Swim and Dive Families! We are excited and just about ready to open registration for the 2023 season to returning families.

This season will look a little different from last summer.

1.  Coach Kathryn will be stepping away as our long-time head coach, however she is not completely gone.  We are pretty sure Kathryn will be spotted on the pool deck from time to time.  Filling Kathryn's position was not easy.  We have been looking and interviewing for quite a while and finally landed on the perfect replacement. Mike Chorba will be our new head coach. Mike has a vast amount of experience as a head swim coach and was an LMT swim parent for several years. Mike is currently the head coach of the Fairless Hills YMCA.  Mike is really looking forward to this opportunity and meeting all of our amazing families.  I will have a nice bio for him on our website soon.

2.   The goal is to go back to two teams this year.  The "alligators" will swim in the red division and the "crocodiles" will swim in the blue division at this point.  This could change but this is what was recommended from the league president last we spoke.  We will divide the team accordingly.  I know many of you will have questions about how this will look.  I want to hold off on answering anything until we have Mike onboarded as he will play a big role in how he would like to assign teams.

Lastly....watch for emails coming out.  The registration email announcing the opening of registrations will come out this evening or tomorrow.  Need to know dates will be coming soon.  Developmental swim will cap so please do not wait long to sign up.  

Just a reminder that the season does begin the day after memorial day and runs through that last week of July!!  Morning practices will begin June 19th.
