-
Swimmers times are taken for all strokes.
-
Time trials will be held during the first week of outdoor practice at the Overlook pool.
-
Swimmers are only required to attend one of the time trial sessions.
-
This is merely to get pre-season swimming times for all the swimmers and is not a competition.
-
At the time trials, new swimmers also become acquainted with the starting blocks.
-
Parents are permitted to remain and watch.
-
Volunteer timers will be needed on the two days of time trials.
*Water temperature will be a deciding factor for in-water practices during the first few weeks of summer. If the water temperature is below 77 degrees Fahrenheit, swimmers will not enter the water based on recommendations from the National Center for Cold Water Safety. On these days, dry land exercises will be performed. Please come prepared each day for both in-water and dry-land practices.
