OUTDOOR PRACTICE SCHEDULE

• Begins tomorrow, Monday, June 9 (no practice July 4)
• Location: Overlook Pool, 301 Golf Drive, Lancaster PA 17601
• Monday - Thursday: 11+ meets 9:00-10:30am, 10U meets 10:30-11:30am
• Fridays (all ages)
  • Optional practice 9:30-10:00am
  • Fun Friday activities 10:00-11:00am
• Parents are permitted to remain for practice but are respectfully requested not to remain poolside during practice sessions
• Practice held rain or shine

Blue & White Intrasquad Meet - Thursday, June 12 - SIGN UP HERE

• Home meet at Overlook Pool
• Warm up 5:30-5:45pm, meet starts at 6:15pm
• Registration + volunteer job sign up deadline Monday, June 9
• Volunteers needed: 1st half announcer (1), 1st half Colorado Timing System (3), 2nd half Colorado Timing System (2), 1st half finish judge (1), 2nd half finish judge (1), meet set up crew (1), meet set up leader (1), meet teardown crew (5), meet teardown leader (1), 2nd half stroke & turn official (2), 1st half timers (2), 2nd half timers (13)
• Reminder: This is an internal competition where members of the Overlook Swim Team will race against each other. It's organized primarily as a training tool, intended to help our swimmers simulate the pressures and pacing of a real meet without leaving their home pool. Times will be recorded for progress tracking, but the focus is more on learning and improvement than on winning. This meet is also a great opportunity for parent volunteers to get involved, try out different volunteer roles, and learn how meets operate - all in a low-stakes, supportive setting. 

Woodridge Summer Swim Classic Invitational - Saturday, June 14 - SIGN UP HERE

• Woodridge Swim Club, 50 W 7th St, Lititz PA 17543
• Registration deadline has passed, volunteer job sign up deadline Saturday, June 14
• Volunteers needed: timer (1)
• Swimmers arrive by 7:15am, warm ups begin at 7:30am, meet starts at 9:00am
• Admission: $5
• Meet program will be digital and available via QR code. The meet will be published on Meet Mobile. 
• Concession stand will have breakfast and lunch items as well as coffee and cold drinks. Grecco's Italian Ice on site.

COMMUNICATION

In order to provide a more comprehensive view of all team events, we have consolidated them to one area of the website as well as one corresponding area on the app.

• Website: All meets, team events and practices can be found on the Team Schedule tab. When you click on that tab, you will find 3 tabs at the top: Swim Meets & Events, Important Events and Practice. All Overlook-related happenings can be found here.
• SportsEngine Motion app: The aforementioned website info feeds directly into the app. Please note that you can RSVP for your swimmer's meets and sign up for volunteer jobs on the app just like you can on the website. For practice dates, click the Attendance & Calendar tab. For meets and social events, please click Events & Jobs, then Events & Meet Entries. 
• As always, please don't forget that a wealth of information can be found in the Team Guide that provides further information regarding the events listed on the Team Schedule.

FAMILY FOLDERS/AWARDS

Family folders are used as a sort of family "mail box" through which we can conveniently deliver things to you such as medals, ribbons, photos and apparel throughout the summer season. They are individual hanging file folders kept in plastic bins in the Overlook Pool shed. Typically, they are brought out during outdoor practice and placed at a table near the shed for you to access. 

Awards from meets will be available in family folders starting sometime the week of June 16th. Parents are welcome to help file awards into family folders during practice as needs arise.

Overlook car magnets are now available for $5 at the Overlook Pool front desk.
