2025 Divisionals at Overlook - many thanks to everyone for making it such a success!
Thanks again to everyone for a terrific season, and we look forward to seeing you next summer! The purpose of this newsletter is to wrap up some final details of the 2025 season and look forward to summer 2026.
2025 WRAP UP
2025 All League Championships and Where to Find Meet Results
Overlook did an outstanding job at All League Championships this weekend! Out of 21 teams in the league, we placed 3rd with a total of 701.5 points. This is an excellent way to end the season, and we are so proud of our swimmers! Way to go!
If you are interested in viewing official dual meet, invitational and championship results for the entire season, the LSSL maintains a spreadsheet that includes three files: 2025 schedule, 2025 meet results and 2025 standings. This is a great resource since you can view overall team results and also drill down to individual swimmers' final times.

Isabella Del Castillo - team record breaker - Girls 13-14 50 Fly 30.20. Breaking the Overlook team record at Divisionals held since 2014!
Jude Slabinski - pool record breaker - Boys 9-10 25 Free 14.27. Breaking the pool record held since 2001 at the Woodridge dual meet!
Jude Slabinski - pool record breaker - Boys 9-10 25 Free 14.12. Breaking the New Holland pool record at LSSL Championships that has stood since 1987 when A. Baldwin went 14.37!
Jude Slabinski - pool record breaker - Boys 9-10 Fly 15.36. Breaking the New Holland pool record at LSSL Championships that has stood since 1987 when A. Baldwin went 15.64!
Family Folders
Family folders are located at Overlook Pool office through August 22, 2025 - after that date all remaining items will be discarded. Please drop by during open pool hours to pick up any apparel, awards and other items if you have not already done so.
Pictures
If you ordered pictures, they will be available for pick up at the Overlook Pool office during open pool hours after August 1st.

Save-A-Life Swim

Winter Swim Teams
For families interested in enrolling their swimmers on a winter swim team, we have created a page in the Team Guide on our website as an informational resource for teams located within Lancaster County. We are not affiliated with these teams and do not endorse any particular one. If interested, we encourage you to review all local options to find the best fit for your family. Please note that availability for this coming winter may differ team to team as their registration calendars differ - some may have concluded registration for this winter, some are open now and others will begin soon in the fall.
A Message from the Manheim Township Staff
Thank you to all the incredible parents, volunteers, and sponsors for making the 2025 swim season such a success! Your dedication - whether helping at meets, organizing events, or getting your swimmers to and from practice - helped create a truly memorable season.
A special shoutout to everyone who contributed to the Divisional Swim Meet. Hosting such a large-scale event was no small feat, and it became a standout moment of our season. This strong season puts us in a great position moving forward with the goal of again hosting Divisionals sometime in the foreseeable future. With a different host site for 2026, we'll look to see the return of Overlook Relays at some point once the schedule is released. These invite and Divisional meets are a primary source of income to the team's budget, and doing well in these events help keep registration pricing affordable for many families.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026
Communication
Unless you opt out of emails from the team, you will receive an email from us when the 2026 meet schedule is finalized (see tentative schedule below). You will also begin hearing from us with registration details for next summer in early 2026. Stay tuned!
Tentative 2026 Meet Schedule
In order for you to keep meet dates in mind as you plan summer vacation next year, we are publishing a tentative meet schedule. Please keep in mind this is tentative as LSSL has not yet released an official calendar. As soon as that is finalized, as mentioned above, we will send you an email with final dates.

Volunteer Opportunities
If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer parent coordinator for the 2026 summer season, the following positions are currently available. Please reach out to Julie Slabinski at [email protected]:
- Banquet Coordinator - For those of you that have already expressed interest, thank you. If you have not yet and are interested in this position, please email Julie Slabinski.
- Overlook Relays Coordinator - This will be a co-chair position in 2026 shared with Chaley Bulla at Manheim Township Parks and Recreation. We need at least one parent to serve as co-chair.
- Skyline Cup Coordinator - This is a new role! This person will be in charge of the Skyline Cup raffle basket fundraising, basket assembly and delivery to Skyline on the day of the event.
