Erin Wilford: Hi, I’m Erin Wilford. I will be returning to the Firebrook Firefish for my fourth summer! When not coaching, I work as a Registered Nurse in the ICU. One of my favorite Firefish memories was winning the Spirit Award in 2022! I am looking forward to meeting all the Firefish swimmers this summer!

Megan Rice:  Hi! I’m Megan Rice and i’m a junior at the University of South Carolina majoring in Sports and Entertainment Management. I’ve been a apart of the Firebrook Firefish for the past fifteen years and have been lucky enough to coach for the past five years! Some of my best memories are from summer swim and I’m looking forward to making many more this year!!!

Matt Painter: This is Matt's third year with the Firebrook Firefish. Matt has over 40 years of swimming and 20 years of coaching experience. Matt swam for Eastern Kentucky University and as a USMS Swimmer has earned top 10 National and World Rankings. He loves the satisfaction he gets from teaching young people not only swimming but life skills. We are so excited to have his expertise and unique sense of humor on our staff.
