Happy Sunday Swim Families! 

  • We will have some more Mountain Mikes cards this week! The new due date for money is May 3rd. 
  • Suit sizing will be out Monday and Tuesday this week, we know last week was a little weird for practices. This will be the last 2 days we'll have suit sizing out. 

Some info from the parent meeting during the 2nd week of practice:

  • If you need to speak to a coach, please message us on Facebook or reply to any of the Mavericks emails and we can get you in touch with a coach before/after practice. While they are on the pool deck and in the middle of practice is not the best time to try to speak to them. 
  • Please remind your children no running on the pool deck, no climbing on buildings, gates, or the lifeguard chair. 
  • There is no official date yet (as far as I know) but we should be changing practice times in the next couple weeks. Once the HS swim teams are finished with their season is when we can move our times up so please keep an eye out for an email soon!
  • Signing up for volunteer jobs during meets was talked about as well. There was another email sent from Zach, our Volunteer Coordinator, that explained the jobs, requirements, process, and accountability. Please go back to that email and read it through or reply to this email and I can share it with you. 
  • Relays during meets are fun and most kids look forward to them. There are 2 relays, one first thing in the morning and one at the end of the meet. Please make sure if your child is in a relay, that you do not leave early and you are on time to the meet. If your child is not there and you did not let us know then we have to scratch that relay group at the last minute. 
  • You do not need to notify us if your child will not be at practice. Practices and meets are not mandatory and you/your swimmer are not penalized for not showing up. 
  • Fireworks booth! This is our biggest fundraiser and this is when we really need parent volunteers. We open up our booth on July 1st and are open through July 4th or until we sell out. So please keep an eye out for more info about the booth volunteering!

GROUPME: Please please if you haven't already, join the groupme chat. It is the fastest way of communication for the team, especially during the meets.
