2026 SWIM SEASON REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The Modesto Mavericks Swim Team is open to ages 5 to 18. Swimmers joining must have previous basic swimming lessons and be capable of swimming a full length of the pool used for practices and meets (25 yards). Registration includes swim practice offered (4) days a week for duration of the season, a latex team swim cap, and Saturday Swim Meets.

  • Returning Swimmers: Early access registration begins February 1st, 2026. 
  • New Swimmers: Open registration begins February 16th, 2026.

 

1. REGISTRATION FEES

  • 1st swimmer: $290
  • 2nd swimmer: $275
  • 3rd+ swimmer: $260 (per additional swimmer)
  • High School Team Swimmer: $175

2. SWIM SUITS

  • We are refreashing our team suit design in 2026! Images coming soon...
  • Team suits are an additional $75 and may be purchased at time of registration. We will have a sizing kit available during the first two (2) weeks of practice. If you choose not to purchase a team suit, swimmers must wear an appropriate competitive suit approved by coaches (kept to standard black/aqua team colors at swim meets). 

 

3. FUNDRAISING

  • Mountain Mikes Pizza (optional)- You have the option of participating in a Mountain Mike Pizza fundraiser to recoup registration and swim suit fees. Each book of Mountain Mikes Pizza coupons raises $12.50. 
  • Firework Booth (required) - The fireworks booth is our biggest fundraiser. It is mandatory for parents to volunteer for at least one, 2-hour shift. Booth volunteer buyout is available for $125. 
  • Fireworks Scripts Purchase (required) - Each swimmer must purchase/sell $50 Firework Scripts for our Fireworks Booth Fundraiser. If you have more than one swimmer, you must purchase a total of $75.

 

4. VOLUNTEERING

  • Swim Meet Team Hours - Parent/Guardian Team Hours are required for us to have successful Swim Meets. At any swim meet that you have a swimmer attending, you will be required to fill a job position (typically a 2-hour shift). There are many jobs available, and most of them are very easy to do. No call, no show volunteers will be billed $25 per hour. 

 

5. REFUND POLICY 

There will be NO REFUNDS if a parent/player pulls their swimmer for another activity or the swimmer chooses to stop swimming. Refund requests will ONLY be considered for the following three (3) reasons:

  • A swimmer is unable to participate due to an injury. A doctor’s note must accompany a letter requesting the refund.
  • A swimmer is unable to participate due to a move that takes them more than 15 minutes away from Modesto. Proof of the new address must accompany a letter requesting the refund.
  • A swimmer registered but was unable to qualify during new swimmer tryouts.
