Turlock Seadogs @ Modesto Mavericks this Saturday
Good afternoon, Mavericks families,
Our first dual and home meet is tomorrow, May 31.
Important times for both days:
- Check in @ 6:45 am
- Warm-ups @ 7:00 am – 7:20 am
- Team meeting @ 7:30 am
- Meet starts @ 8:00 am
Some general reminders and info for this meet:
- The scoreboard will now show events and heats…Home = Event, Guest = Heat
- The pool deck, except designated areas, is open to spectators.
- Smoking and/or vaping is not allowed on the pool deck or school grounds.
- No alcohol is permitted.
- No pets, only service animals permitted.
Please be sure to listen to the announcements in the morning and throughout the day so you don’t miss important information and, more importantly, miss your swimmers’ race!
There’s a meet map attached to the meet event showing team camp set up, etc..
Please remember that you are representing the Modesto Mavericks Swim Team. Any misconduct will be addressed per our code of conduct policy.
It’s going to be very hot! Please be sure to drink lots of water and wear your sunscreen. Stay in the shade as much as possible.
We’ve combined events to speed up the meet and get us out of the heat quicker.

- 33 & 34 - 15-16 boys & 17-18 girls 100 free
- 45, 46, & 47 - 13-14 boys & 15-16 butterfly
- 59, 60, & 61 - 13-14 boys & 15-16 backstroke
- 64 & 65 - 6 & under breaststroke
- 73, 74, 75, & 76 - 13-14 boys, 15-16, 17-18 girls breaststroke
- 89 & 90 - 15-16 boys, 17-18 girls 50 freestyle
- 97 & 98 - 11-12 freestyle relays
- 99, 100, & 103 - 13-14 & 15-18 freestyle relays
