Meet of Champions 2025
Good afternoon Mavericks families,
We are excited to share some information about Meet of Champions. Our swimmers who place in the top 10 of their event at Championships, or who qualify based on their time, are eligible to participate in the Sacramento Valley Meet of Champions. This 2-day event is completely optional but offers a great opportunity for swimmers to compete at a higher level.
Meet of Champions Details:

Date: August 2nd and 3rd, 2025

Location: Roseville Aquatics Complex, 3051 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. Roseville, CA 95747

Registration Fee: $40 (due by July 28th, 2025)
Swimmers can qualify in two ways:

Top 10 Finish: If they place in the top 10 in their event at the League Championships.

Qualifying Times: If they meet the qualifying time for their event.
I have attached the qualifying times sheet for your reference. Additionally, you can visit the Meet of Champions website (link below) for more information about the event itself.
*If you are checking the qualifying times, one thing to note is Meet of Champions may have different length for some age groups than we do. For example: In our league, 9-10 swim 50 yards but at MOC they only swim 25 yards. If your swimmer made it in the top 10 at our championships you'll register them for the 25 yard at MOC.

Important Notes:

Families are responsible for registering their swimmer for this meet.
- You will need to make another teamunify/sports engine acct on the Meet of Champions website (link is above)

Swimmers can register for the event(s) they qualified for plus 1 bonus event.
- The registration fee of $40 is due by July 28th, and payments should be submitted directly to the Meet of Champions teamunify website.
- You are also still required to sign up for a volunteer position, those shifts are either 3 hours long or they go by stroke (ex: Timer for backstroke only)
