Fort Thomas Swim & Dive Team     

The Fort Thomas Swim & Dive Team is a recreational team that is a member of the Northern Kentucky Swim League (NKSL)  http://www.swimnksl.com. All members in good standing are eligible to participate in the swim team as long as they are able to complete one lap of the pool (25 meters) of freestyle and one lap of the pool backstroke at the beginning of the season. All members in good standing are eligible to participate in the diving team as long as they are able to dive off of the diving board (1 meter board) at the beginning of the season.

 

Practices:

  • Practices begin on June 2 and run thru the Classic and Champ meets in July.
  • The team practices are held Monday- Thursday each week.
  • Practice Times:

Swimming

11 and older: 8:00-9:15am

10 and under: 9:05-10:00am

Diving

11 and older: 11:00-12:00pm

10 and under: 10:00-11:00am

Meets

  • There are 6 regular season diving and swim meets with a championship meet either NKSL Classic (formerly known as All-Star) or Champ Meet at the end of the season. The meet schedules are posted under the Events tab.
  • Diving Meets are held on Tuesday evenings at various NKSL clubs.
  • Swim Meets are held on Thursday evenings at various NKSL clubs 

Fees

$50 for each swimmer/diver registered. 

Fees include payment of insurance required by the NKSL, sales tax, credit card fees and a team T-shirt for each swimmer.

There will be no refunds given.

Registration

Fort Thomas Swim & Dive Team has implemented the Team Unify Swim Office administrative system to coordinate team communications, administration, information and registration.   You may register your swimmer(s) and/or diver(s) on-line from any computer, phone, iPad, etc.... from which you can access the internet.

You will receive a username and password to login in to the site and will be able to sign your swimmer(s) or diver(s) for the season and sign up to work the swim meets.

The registration system will be available beginning April 7, 2025.

You may click on the  START REGISTRATION  button  to register your swimmer(s) and/or diver(s) for the season.  

Team Gear

A Team T-Shirt is included in the team fees for swimmers and divers who register on time. Please indicate your child's size during registration. If you are a returning swimmer, your previous size will be preloaded.  Please check this for each of your children and update, if necessary.  

Latex swim caps can be purchased during practice or before a meet from one of the coaches for $5 each. Silocone swim caps will be available for purchse for $12 each.  Swimmers can not use caps or suits with other team logos.  

Team suits can be ordered through Swimville in Kenwood, or at Get Your Gear Night.  Get Your Gear Night will be held at the Club on May 6th from 6:00 - 7:30 at the Fort Thomas Armory.  You'll be able to order your team suit and purchase goggles and caps at this event, as well.  

Spirit wear will also be available via an online spirit shop.
