Championship Meets – Sign-up by July 1
The conference is preparing for our Championship meets, and in doing so needs to know our current swimmer attendance for each meet.
Please declare/decline your swimmer by July 1. Important note: declarations can be changed if a swimmer qualifies for City at a later meet. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Molly.
- Classic Meet: July 19- Meet Packet
- City Meet: July 25 (Seniors only) and July 26 – Meet Packet
Which meet(s) do you declare for?
- Swimmers must swim in at least 3 dual meets this summer to qualify for the Championship meet.
- Swimmers in 13/14 and Senior age groups will all swim at City.
- Swimmers 6&u, 8&u, 9-10, and 11-12 will swim at the Classic Meet unless they have achieved a qualifying time(s) for an event (see times here). If they have achieved a City time, that event cannot be swam at Classic. Swimmers are allowed to declare “yes” for both Classic and City if volunteering to be on relays only for City. Meaning swimmers can swim relays + individual events at Classic, and swim only relays at City. Relays are determined by the coaching staff.
- Relay swimmers will be chosen before the meets and will be based on swimmer declaration and times. Declaring "yes" will not guarantee a spot on a relay.
- For both Classic and City, the maximum number of events per swimmer is 4 (vs 5 at our dual meets), with up to 3 individual events. If your swimmer is in both relays, they can only swim 2 individuals. If your swimmer has only 1 City time, please discuss with your swimmer and/or Coach Molly if Classic or City is best for individual events.
