2025 Team Registration

We are moving to a new team management platform and hope to have registration open by 5/1/25. Please bear with us as we make out transition.

Welcome to Seahawks registration! You are embarking on a summer swim journey with a special team with more than 15 DUSO championships under its belt! If this is your first year, it's going to be an amazing one. If you are coming back for your second, third, or even 10th year - you know what you're in for.

We are dedicated to making your child's swimming experience the most fun it can be and look forward to having them become part of the tradition. It is our hope that you and your family will grow to love not only the sport, but all things Seahawks.

We look forward to having you join the New Paltz Seahawks and are excited for another great season!

There is a NO REFUND POLICY for registration fees.
Registration includes a team t-shirt, swim cap, and bag tag.
Registration is $170 New Paltz Residents and $195 Non-Residents - There are discounts for additional swimmers in your family.
Practice starts on 5/28
From 5/28 through 6/23, practice will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Starting on June 30th, practice will be Monday - Friday.

We are requiring all Seahawks families to complete 4 WORK CREDITS during the season.
We are requiring each swimmer to donate 1 item from our concessions signup list for all HOME swim meets this year.
Suits can be purchased through SwimOutlet. Please make sure to choose Navy as the color. The store also has some recommended goggles for anyone that isn't sure what to purchase. Our online Fan Gear Shop will be opening later this month.
Our season ends the first weekend in August

The New Paltz Seahawks swim team is a summer swim team whose purpose is to introduce and instill a love of swimming to children ages 6-18, and to build a team that shows commitment to developing competitive swimming skills and building self-esteem and pride through both team and individual accomplishments.

Competitive swimming means demonstrating courage, hard work, determination, responsibility, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Recreational swimming means demonstrating the ability to have fun, to laugh, and to love the sport at every level. Our goal is to find and keep a good balance between the two. Swimmers owe it to themselves and to the team to show support to their fellow swimmers during practice, during meets, and outside of the pool.

The New Paltz Seahawks is steeped in tradition, with fond memories held by swimmers young and old. We are fortunate that as the program continues to grow, we have longstanding community members who have come through the program, return to the program either in form of coach, volunteer, or parent of a new swimmer. It is our hope that you and your family will grow to love not only the sport, but all things Seahawks.
