2025 Coaching Staff

Matthew Stooke – Head Coach
Hello, I am Matthew Stooke. I am thrilled to join the Breakers’ coaching staff as the head coach. I swam for Breakers from when I was 7 until I turned 18 and am thankful for an opportunity to give back to the team that helped me love swimming all those years ago. Since I started swimming on Breakers, I have also swum for the Seahawks and currently swim for Mckendree University where I will be a senior next school year. I have three years of club coaching experience with the Seahawks, where I worked with and learned from some of the best coaches in the area, as well as a season of summer league and private lesson experience. I have worked with all ages of swimmers, from those showing up at their first practice to those preparing for a collegiate swimming career. I enjoy coaching because it gives me a different perspective on the sport of swimming than I once had, and it lets me revisit different stages of my swimming career and appreciate them in a way I would not be able to without being a coach. I look forward to helping all of our swimmers have as much fun on Breakers as I had while also focusing on developing and refining strokes and habits that will allow them to continue to develop into successful athletes.

Camden Kimmel - Assistant Coach
Salutations! My name is Camden Kimmel, and I'm excited to be returning as an assistant coach with the O'Fallon Breakers this summer. I'll be turning 19 mid-season, marking my 9th year on the team. Breakers was where I got my start with competitive swimming, and I've swam on the YOSI Seals, MetroPlex Seahawks with Coaches Matthew and Jenna, and O'Fallon High School Boys Swim Team. Being a teacher for kids is a familiar role for me, and it is a duty I excel at! I've taught hundreds of swim lessons through the YMCA and on the side, tutored students in a variety of
subjects, and frequently babysit when I am home from college. By the time you see me on pool deck, I will have finished my first two semesters at Michigan State University! I plan on graduating with three B.S. degrees as a Pre-Med student minoring in dance. Currently, I dedicate many hours of my week to rehearsing with DanceStation and working at the YMCA! I look forward to making this a fantastic summer experience for our swimmers!

Jenna Denton - Assistant Coach
Hi! My name Jenna Denton and I am super excited to be an assistant coach this year for the Breakers! I was on Breakers from 5 to 18 years old. I have also been on Yosi, Seahawks, and the OTHS swim team. I was a captain on the OTHS girls team and competed at state twice. I am currently swimming on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater swim team. I am majoring in Marine Biology and Freshwater Ecology with a minor in Nonprofit Management. I have been teaching swim lessons at the Memorial pool for 3 years and I helped coach the OTHS girls swim team. I can't wait for an amazing season!

Jackson Lustig - Assistant Coach
Hello, my name is Jackson Lustig. This will be my first season in the summer league. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but I’ve lived here in O’Fallon since 2023. I am thrilled to be joining the coaching staff of the O’Fallon Breakers Swim team this upcoming 2025 summer season. I dedicated 17 years of my life to swimming, growing both personally and athletically through the incredible journey our sport offered. Whether it was breaking multiple Divison 2 NCAA records or finishing 24th at the USA Olympic Trials I know and understand the ins and outs of our sport very well. I'm looking forward to helping and guiding the next generation of swimmers while I’m here at Breakers and across town with the Seahawks. Whether it’s during team practices or individual sessions, I enjoy helping swimmers develop strong and safe technique while building confidence in the water. I’m excited to become more involved in the O’Fallon swimming community and support the growth of our sport at the local level.
