Registration Information
The Orinda Park Pool (OPP) swim team is open to swimmers up to age 18 whose families are members of Orinda Park Pool. To learn about membership at the pool please visit the membership section on the OPP Website at www.orindaparkpool.org. Pool membership does not guarantee acceptance on the swim team. OPP is part of the 9-team Orinda Moraga Pool Association (OMPA) summer recreational swim league. For more information on the OMPA league, including rules, results, and an interactive swimmer database, please visit the OMPA website: www.ompaswim.com.
Summer Registration will open on March 28
Our regular swim season will run from June until August, starting with:
- Spring after-school practices from April 21 to May 30
- time trials on Sunday, May 18
- Summer daytime practices from June until August
- OMPA championship meet scheduled for August 2 to August 4
- Fall season after-school practices start in September and end in October.
Registration for the regular swim season will open on March 28th. We are asking families to register early so that we can plan our training groups for the season as early as possible. Registering by April 20 also gets you a $50 discount!
NEW FAMILIES: New families are encouraged to join our regular-season swim team. There will be an orientation meeting for new families on Saturday April 19 try to attend if you are new to the team.

Pre-Season Swim Clinics March to April
With a March 24 opening of the pool, we are excited to offer pre-season afternoon clinics to returning swimmers who are planning to swim in the regular season and are interested in diving right in! Here are the details:
- Tuesday, March 26 through Thursday, April 18
- Practice times for each age group will be determined after registration
- Open to experienced, returning swimmers 7 and up who have age appropriate swim ability for competitive swim team.
- There will be no coaches in the water during clinics
- Cost will be $160 for the 4-week session
- Registration will open on March 6

-7/8: 4:25-5:00
-9-11: 5:00-5:45
-12 and ups 5:45-6:45
- April 22- Freestyle
- April 29 - Freestyle
- May 6 - Backstroke

- May 20 - Butterfly
- May 27- Starts and Turns
