Swim Practice Times for 2024 Season:

Indoor Practices - Held at Liberty High School 

Hanover Swim Team will offer a few indoor practices at the end of May/early June to prepare the team before heading outside after school ends.  Dates and Times TBD.

Starting Monday June 10, 2024 - Outdoor Practice at Hanover Pool in the MORNINGS

Monday through Friday

TENTATIVE * 7:00 - 9:00 : 11 & Over

TENTATIVE * 9:00 - 10:00 : 10 & Under

*Team will watch registration numbers and if certain groups are large practice times may shift.

Important Information:

1.  Swim practice on a meet day is MANDATORY.

2. We ask that if parents are staying during practice that they stay in the stands at Liberty or outside the fence at Hanover Pool to avoid distracting the swimmers.

3.  If your swimmer can NOT attend a meet, please make sure you sign them out on the correct meet at least two (2) days in advance.  We understand that there are the occasional last minute illnesses that won't comply but if it's a planned day out please do this in advance.  Signing out swimmers can be done on the Swim Meet Schedule page by clicking 'Edit Commitment'.

4.  Home Meets – please arrive at 4:45 pm

5. Away Meets – please arrive at 5:00 pm

6.  Volunteer job – must be signed up for TBD jobs.  If these are not completed by the end of the season you will be charged a volunteer fee.  Signups can found on the Swim Meet Schedule page by lclicking 'Job Signups'.  Type of volunteer jobs include timing, stroke & turn judge/starter (must be certified), zoo-keeper, runner, water cooler duties, ribbon writer, computer person (can be trained), as well as Friday snack provider.

7.  Fundraising - Hanover will have a snack stand at home meets this year.  We will ask that each family donate one food item for each home meet.  The food item will be specified prior to the meet to ensure we have a variety of food.

8. Main communication will be via email.  Please make sure to check your email for important information, especially on days of the meets for any weather related issues.  The team also utilizes Mailboxes which will be location at the Pool – check your mailbox daily.  Coaches email  [email protected] and Board email - [email protected]
